Five NSI Gold awards for Securi-Guard Monitoring

Five NSI Gold awards for Securi-Guard Monitoring

Tuesday, September 14, 2010

UK-based monitoring specialist Securi-Guard, who operate the Securi-Track service, has landed yet another gold industry award - this time for its lone worker monitoring service.

The prestigious award from the National Security Inspectorate (NSI) means the company, whose HQ is in Plymouth, now holds five NSI Gold accreditations for its wide-ranging monitoring and tracking services.

The award comes hard on the heels of an NSI Gold accreditation for its vehicle tracking/monitoring services.

The lone worker monitoring service gives those staff whose line of work exposes them to the potential risk of injury or assault complete peace of mind and protection.

As one of the UK's largest independent supplier of monitoring services, Securi-Guard now has more than 1,000 customers using devices in the lone worker protection scheme, ranging from bailiffs, debt collectors and court enforcement officers to council workers and health and safety officers.

Pete Stanley, Head of Telematics at Securi-Guard, said: 'I am delighted that our lone worker monitoring service has secured a gold NSI award in line with other services we offer as a company.'

'Five gold awards puts us in very select company within the security industry and represents yet another ringing endorsement for the quality and high standard of services Securi-Guard Monitoring offers.'

As the leading approvals and certification body for the security industry, the NSI carry out a tough audit to ensure companies like Securi-Guard Monitoring provide a service that meets the highest of standards.

To attain the award, a detailed assessment was carried out to ensure Securi-Guard Monitoring met certain strict levels in relation to company policy, response and performance criteria and that equipment was compliant with relevant industry standards.

Securi-Guard Monitoring also had to ensure that the lone worker monitoring service met the requirements for the Association of Chief Police Officers (ACPO).

Securi-Guard Monitoring now holds five NSI Gold awards for:

  • ARC intruder alarm monitoring
  • ARC fire alarm monitoring
  • RVRC CCTV monitoring
  • SOC vehicle tracking/monitoring
  • BS 8484 lone worker monitoring
NSI accreditation means Securi-Guard Monitoring meets criteria including highest performance standards and providing a high level of staff training and supervision to industry best practice standards. Gold status means the company also meet specific Quality Management System standard and offer a high level of insurance specification and preferment. Scott Boyd, Managing Director (Operations) said: 'These gold awards are a measure of where we have come as a company and our dedication to providing the highest possible standard and quality of service to our clients.

'I cannot praise the team here at Securi-Guard Monitoring too highly for what they have all helped us achieve and the considerable standing and reputation we now have in our industry, thanks to their efforts and professionalism.'
