Two leading companies are the first to sign up to Securi-Track

A major haulage company and a leading vehicle tracking firm have become the first customers to sign up to Securi-Guard's innovative Securi-Track service.

Northern Ireland-based Montgomery Transport will have its fleet of lorries monitored throughout Europe using the all new European Police Response Service based at Securi-Guard's hi-tech Secure Operating Centre (SOC) in Estover, Plymouth.

Part of Ballyvesey Holdings Ltd, Montgomery Transport is a national and international haulage company situated in Newtownabbey and since 1970 has grown to become one of the leading privately owned transport firms operating between Great Britain/Ireland and Europe.

Meanwhile, Aeromark Ltd, which manufactures and supplies the tracking devices used by Montgomery has also signed up to Securi-Track.

Based in Bedford, Aeromark has been at the forefront of vehicle tracking technology since 1990 and supply some of the most innovative and technologically advanced products currently on the market.

Aeromark is the first product supplier to join the Securi-Track service and recommends Securi-Guard's vehicle tracking and monitoring service to its customer base. Pete Stanley, Head of Telematics at Securi-Guard, said he was delighted that two of the major names in their respective industries had seen the huge potential of Securi-Track.

For Aeromark, which has first rate vehicle tracking technology, making use of our state-of-the art SOC and incident management platform will greatly enhance their customer offering and provide complete peace of mind from a vehicle security perspective.

Securi-Track is a major international scheme and is re-thinking the rules on incident management for vehicle and asset tracking - saving customers time and money.

Currently, it is commonplace for tracking companies reporting incidents of vehicle theft or hijacking abroad to report incidents through a third party operator, who then call the service providers in the particular country where the crime has taken place.

But Estover-based Securi-Guard's high-tech computer software - specifically developed for this service - links directly to any one of the specially recruited team of security companies - partners in key European countries which also removes the problem of any language barriers should the driver not speak the language of the country where the incident has occurred.

The system means both Securi-Guard and its network of European security specialists (partners) are sharing a common computerised incident management platform that can be regularly updated and reviewed, thus speeding up incident response and investigation, giving clients a significant cost saving.

Pete has spent the last 12 months working with top net services company Denkmaiers to fine tune the computer system, as well as seeking the services from highly reputable security firms in the Republic of Ireland, France, Spain, Germany, Portugal, Austria, Slovakia, Hungary, Poland, Italy, Holland, Denmark, Belgium and the Czech Republic.

The company believes it has huge potential and can lease out the operating system to any of the participating partner countries to enable them to develop their own version of the service.
